Your first visit, step by step

A first visit usually runs about an hour, and nothing starts that you haven't asked for.

  1. Step 1: Choose an office and a time

Book on our own scheduling page, or call. Tell us your dentist's name if you have one.

  2. Step 2: Fill in forms on the portal

Health history goes on our private patient portal, not by email or through the contact form on this site.

  3. Step 3: Bring what you have

A photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, and any recent X-rays your dentist can send.

  4. Step 4: The visit

A talk about what you want to change, an exam, photos or a scan, and X-rays only if the doctor needs them.

  5. Step 5: Your options, in writing

You hear the options, a range for how long each would take, and a written estimate if you want one.

What you'll hear at the end of the visit

The doctor tells you what they see, which options fit your teeth, what each involves and what happens if you wait. You leave with the choice in your hands, and nobody asks you to start that day.

  • What your dentist will hear from us, if you agree
